FLOWERING CRABAPPLE
Malus 'Cultivars noted below'
Few trees approach the beauty of a crabapple, for blooming in spring
or winter fruit display. The crabapple trees available today offer
a wide variety of forms and colors. All of our selections are disease
resistant, those with outstanding records of resistance are noted.
They easily lend themselves to use in residential, park or urban settings,
whether used in mixed borders or as outstanding specimens. Far from
the large, sometimes messy fruits of the past, today's Crabapples
have fruit which ranges from only 3/8 to 5/8" in diameter. Most
fruits are persistent through winter, or until hungry birds make a
feast of them.
